Remember a few weeks ago when Obama gave a speech that if Congress passes his stimulus bill that the company Caterpillar will be able to hire back some of the 22,000 workers being laid off. Guess what?
Catepillar announced today that they are laying off 2,454 workers in addition to the already 22,000 announced layoffs not long ago.
The stimulus bill has passed and Caterpillar has not hired back any of its workers. Instead, they are laying off more.
