I was shocked today when I tuned into watch the Glenn Beck Program…no I was not shocked that Judge Andrew Napolitano was subbing for him, no, I was surprised to see him interviewing Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. From just about the beginning he has been antagonistic toward the TEA Party and begrudgingly went along to get along. His antagonism has been primarily focused at the Paul family, specifically Rep. Ron Paul making such statements like “Ron Paul does not run the Republican Party.” However, today he took a different approach in joining TEA Party favorites Sen. Rand Paul and Sen. Mike Lee in taking to the airwaves to promote their (yes he is a primary sponsor) Social Security Solvency and Sustainability Act.
Check out the video below:
Now I am by no means saying that Sen. Graham has turned over a new leaf, but he seemed down right giddy to be promoting this good legislation along with his fellow TEA Party co-sponsors. I am sure there is a part of him that really wants to do this, but I nor should anyone else in the TEA Party be so naive to think he has crossed over to our side; he just has on this one issue. This does signal to me though that a man that seemed to be so adversarial to it, is now at the least warming up to it, if for no other reason than to keep his seat. If that’s his logic, well until we can make much larger strides in Reclaiming the Republic and Restoring the Constitution, I’ll take it.
As I heard earlier in the week the more establishment Republicans may just be getting on the TEA Party Band Wagon and we must keep that in mind and what they are really there for. However, we can turn the tables on them and force them to stay on the band wagon for a wild little ride they didn’t know they were getting on….he he he!!
