Well folks the hits just keep coming, Rick Perry the Democrat, Rick Perry the Texas Al Gore Campaign Manager, Rick Perry and the NAFTA Superhighway. Now it seems Rick Perry has a medical issue as Conservative columnist and pundit Michelle Malkin slams him for his Texas mandate on vaccines and explores how this is more than just a single issue with Perry.
If that is not enough for you then how about reports (so you know I aint making it up) of him commending Hillary Clinton and her efforts to reform health care in a letter he wrote in 1993
Perry didn’t forget which side he was on. He was on the side of Merck, a major campaign contributor. Perry’s executive order as governor would have cost Texas taxpayers over $300 to vaccinate each sixth grade girl in Texas. If that naked abuse of power had stuck, it would have been a HUGE profit for Merck, while providing large scale product testing and legitimizing the mandatory vaccinations for other states. When you see such universal opposition to a state mandate like this from across the political spectrum when most people are politically apathetic, you know you’ve tapped into some serious evil.
This one issue of mandatory vaccinations makes Rick Perry’s presidential candidacy a complete non-starter. The NAFTA Super Highway land seizures and the numerous other Perry issues, significant as they are, serve as additional nails in his coffin by comparison.
It’s scary how much Rick Perry looks like an exaggerated impersonation of all of George W. Bush’s worst characteristics, mannerisms and speech patterns. I know Obama is bad and we have very short memories, but I still don’t think the country is ready for Bush on steroids.
