Wow. No warning, no preamble. Just released. There is a little justice in the world after all. (Bound to be more to the story, right? Stay tuned.)
What a happy, happy day!!!

Had the most wonderful surprise last nite a knock at my door it was Joel ‘ Bruce Scott .
Yay :)
Joel’s attorney is Tucker Richardson, (859) 259-0727, http://BRR-law.com, 300 Short Street next to Cheapside downtown.
I asked a legal assistant friend about the jail situation. Here’s what he said:
“I believe any sentence that is five years or less is generally served in the county jail as opposed to going to a state prison. I believe it was originally supposed to be just sentences of one year or less served in a jail but the state has pushed more Class D felons (5 year sentences) into county jails to save money.
So, someone who gets 120 days would certainly be serving it in the county jail and not a state prison.”
This “so called judge” needs to be punished for “mocking” this young man. Clouse is an ASSHOLE!!!
The only way to punish a judge that I know of is to make sure he is not re-elected. Sadly, Clouse is running unopposed in November.

We could write-in Joel’s name instead of just not voting for him.
Jane, maybe you should ask Naselroad’s attorney. He may be able to help.
Hi Jane, I’m pretty sure he was supposed to sit in the Clark County jail. I never heard he was supposed to go to state. Do you have an attorney? I’ll ask a friend, see what he says about this.
Sally, was his sentencing only in a county jail or was he supposed to have gone to a state jail instead? My husband had the same exact sentence for 120days but he’s been sitting in a county for the same amount if time. He was sent July 10th this year and we are expecting him to come home this week as well but it’s still all in the air. I dunno how shock probation works but he keeps tell me he has it but the sentencing paper we received says nothing about it. He says he had to sign a bunch of papers regarding prison and probation and it’s just a fumble of jibber jabber. So was Joel was supposed to go to state or stay in county his whole sentence before he was miraculously released?
